"LOYALTY" em uma faixa creme entre duas andorinhas, com uma estrela vermelha acima e uma rosa abaixo, como desenho flash de tatuagem tradicional americana. Contornos pretos grossos e preenchimentos chapados em vermelho, amarelo, verde e azul; as maiúsculas têm serifas em cunha, divididas meio preto e meio vermelho com brilhos brancos. Troque a palavra, ou os motivos, para refazê-lo como sua própria peça flash.

the classic American traditional flash people pin on a tattoo studio wall, frame as an art print or stick on a laptop. GRAPHIC LANGUAGE: bold flat icons from the classic sailor-era repertoire - swallows, red roses with green leaves, anchors, daggers through hearts, panther heads, eagles, nautical stars, ships, skulls and horseshoes - every shape closed by a heavy, even black outline with solid black shading along one side; small four-point sparkles, dots and short radiating lines fill the gaps between shapes; ribbon banners carry the words. LAYOUT: either one self-contained emblem with the words worked into it, or a flash sheet of several separate small designs spaced out across one page. LIGHT: no scene lighting - a flat hand-painted, printed graphic, evenly lit like paper in daylight. COLOUR: a limited flash palette of black, red, mustard yellow and leaf green with a little sky blue, laid in as solid flat fills. TEXTURE: aged cream or manila paper with faint watercolour unevenness inside the fills, or clean white for a single design. TIERS: the flash sheet tier is a wall-ready sheet or poster on aged paper with several designs; the single design tier is one bold emblem on white or a plain colour, for stickers, tees and tattoo designs. LETTERFORM COLOR PRIORITY: if the selected font defines its own letterform colour or material, that takes absolute priority; the red, yellow and black of the flash palette colour the letters only when the font does not specify. ATMOSPHERE: the black outlines, the flat red, yellow and green fills, the sparkles and the classic flash motifs always appear around the words regardless of letterform colour. When no specific material is defined by the font: default lighting - flat, even daylight on paper, no glow and no cast shadows, on aged cream paper or clean white. A single American traditional tattoo design on clean white: two swallows facing each other above a ribbon banner reading 'LOYALTY', a nautical star between the birds and a red rose with green leaves below the banner.
