Bottom tier: a cream scroll-shaped cartouche with black outline over the waves reads 'APRIL 12' in bold black brush capitals, with 'KAIZEN DOJO' beneath in smaller vermilion brush capitals. Saturated traditional pigments: vermilion, deep indigo, jade green, golden yellow, peony pink, with bare cream as the highlights.
