"Halloween Party" é um convite de festa recortado com visual retrô de Halloween de meados do século. Letras caprichosas e encaracoladas em preto e laranja ficam numa nuvem creme, cercadas por uma abóbora sorridente, uma coruja, uma lua crescente sorridente e um gato preto arqueado. Troque o título, a data e a hora, e o nome do anfitrião ou o endereço para criar seu próprio convite.

rendered in whimsical mid-century storybook lettering brushed by hand. Every letter is a different height and width and tilts its own way — some lean left, some right, some hop above the line, some drop below — so the word wobbles instead of sitting in a row. Strokes are lumpy, swelling and thinning by hand, their ends curling into small loops or flicking outward, with one or two crossbars or tails stretched comically long. Counters stay open and every letter reads easily. Flat ink, no 3D, no gloss, no outline. Like the title of a 1950s American children's picture book. The whole picture is a 1950s printed Halloween party invitation, the kind that looks found in grandma's attic. GRAPHIC LANGUAGE: old die-cut paper decoration layout — a grinning jack-o-lantern, an owl on a branch, a smiling crescent moon face and a black cat, arranged around a scalloped label panel that holds the words. LIGHT: flat printed light, shading made only with flat colour shapes and halftone dots. COLOUR: limited three-colour print in pumpkin orange, black and cream, with one small touch of olive green. TEXTURE: aged yellowed card, coarse halftone dots, slightly misregistered colour plates, softly worn corners. A vintage party invitation card: 'Halloween Party' as the large title on the scalloped label, 'Saturday Oct 31 · 8PM' and 'at the Millers'' in smaller lines below, the jack-o-lantern, owl, moon face and black cat around the label.
