Butterfly: a slender pointed body with a tiny head and two long curved antennae that end in hooked barbs. Two large upper wings sweep up and out as sharp blade shapes. Two smaller lower wings sweep down and out into long tapering tails. Every wing edge is a needle-thin outline, with no solid fills. Thin veins branch inside each wing like circuitry and thorns. Small curved rose-thorn barbs grow along the outlines. Every line swells slightly in its middle and tapers to a needle point at both ends. Some wing tips split into double points. A few long, elegant curved spikes sweep outward from the wing corners. Keep the spaces between lines open and generous, so the thin strokes stay separate and do not merge when tattooed.
