A single American traditional (old school) tattoo flash design on a plain clean white background: a large upright anchor with a waving ribbon banner across its lower third that reads "HOLD FAST". The design is tall and centred, with a wide safe margin of white on all sides, and it sits as one self-contained emblem with no other text. ANCHOR: a bold classic anchor, with a ring at the top, a crossbar (stock) with round knobbed ends, a thick straight shaft, and two curved flukes with pointed arrowhead tips at the bottom. A thick rope wraps once around the shaft and loops down on one side, with simple diagonal twist lines. The anchor's fill is flat mustard yellow, and solid black shading fills the right side of the shaft, the flukes and the ring in hard-edged shapes. Two or three short white highlight dashes sit on the yellow side. BANNER: one ribbon scroll that waves gently across the shaft. The middle panel faces the viewer and the ends fold back behind it, finishing in forked swallowtail tails. The ribbon is flat red, with solid black in the folds where it turns behind itself and two thin curved lines at each fold. The words "HOLD FAST" are set in bold upright black capitals with small pointed wedge serifs, centred on the band, following its gentle curve and fully inside the ribbon. Letters are thick, with open, generous gaps between them and between the two words, so they survive at forearm size. ACCENTS: two flat green leaves and one small red rose with a black-outlined spiral centre tucked behind the upper arm of the anchor on one side. A few small four-point sparkles, dots and short radiating lines fill the gaps, kept sparse. A little sky blue appears in a small wave-curl shape at the base of the anchor. LINEWORK: every shape is closed by a heavy black outline of even weight, with flat opaque colour inside. The palette is black, red, mustard yellow, leaf green and a little blue. There are no gradients, no soft shading, no fine detail, no texture and no cast shadows, in flat even light, ready for an artist to trace and stencil.
