Create a finished 9:16 vertical Instagram story for a children’s library event, designed to read instantly on a phone. Use a playful-spooky, gentle register for children ages 3–8; no horror, sharp teeth, gore, blood, or frightening faces. Set all text within the central safe band, leaving the top 12% and bottom 12% free of text and important details. Exact text, with no extra lettering: headline “SPOOKY STORY HOUR”; supporting line “THURSDAY · 4 PM”; venue and audience line “MAPLE STREET LIBRARY · AGES 3–8”. Make the headline the clear first read: large, heavy, rounded custom uppercase letterforms with wide counters and soft corners, colored warm cream with a thick plum outline and a small, restrained orange offset shadow. Supporting lines are clearly readable beneath it in bold rounded cream lettering; keep the venue and age line smaller but not fine print. Keep the text centered and horizontally level. Build a cozy illustrated storybook scene behind and below the text: an open teal-blue book with softly glowing cream pages, a tiny smiling sheet-ghost peeking from behind one page, two small pumpkin-shaped lanterns with simple friendly faces, scattered golden stars, and a crescent moon. Use flat, clean shapes with subtle paper grain and gentle layered-paper depth; keep all characters secondary to the words. Background is deep plum-purple with a soft lavender halo behind the type and sparse orange and cream star dots. Use a limited palette of plum, lavender, warm cream, pumpkin orange, and teal. Soft diffuse lighting, crisp edges, strong text/background contrast, generous spacing, polished children’s picture-book illustration. No logos, no app interface, no additional words, no buttons, no arrows, no QR codes.
