"Peace & Joy" ist eine Weihnachtsgrußkarte mit der Zeile "MERRY CHRISTMAS" darüber, im lockeren Aquarellstil. Dunkelgrüne Pinselschrift steht oben auf cremefarbenem Papier, und unten rechts ragt eine verschneite Tanne mit roten Beeren auf. Tausche den Gruß aus, füge einen Namen oder ein Jahr hinzu und ändere die kleine obere Zeile für deine eigene Karte.

Create a finished portrait watercolor Christmas greeting card on generous, warm-white cold-press paper. Keep the composition airy, with broad untouched paper around every element. At the top, set the small, refined uppercase line “MERRY CHRISTMAS”. Below it, make “Peace & Joy” the clear focal point in large flowing hand-painted brush-script letterforms: joined lowercase, elegant thick downstrokes and fine upstrokes, with a graceful ampersand. Paint the letters in deep muted pine-green transparent watercolor. Let the paper glow through the thin strokes; pigment pools subtly at stroke edges, with delicate wet-on-wet blooms, granulation and occasional tiny flecks of bare paper. Keep every letter crisp enough to read at greeting-card size. Place one solitary snow-covered pine in the lower-right portion of the card, painted by hand with loose watercolor brushwork in slate blue, sage and pine green, with a few warm brick-red and ochre touches in the small details of its branches. The tree is the only illustrated subject: no houses, church, bridge, hills, stream, extra trees or ornaments. Add just a few small white gouache snow dots around it. Let the tree’s watercolor edges soften and fade naturally into the paper. Soft cold winter daylight, quiet shadows, no frame or border. Preserve the open white-paper space as a major part of the design; balance the small top line, prominent greeting and single lower tree without crowding or overlap.
