Create a finished, text-free matching PFP diptych on a wide 2:1 canvas, made from two equal square portrait panels that can each be cropped and used separately. Left square: a masculine-presenting young adult, close-up head-and-shoulders portrait, turned inward to look right. Right square: a feminine-presenting young adult, close-up head-and-shoulders portrait, turned inward to look left. Give them distinct, natural features without implying a specific real couple or celebrity. Keep both faces large, clear, and similarly framed, with their eyes aligned at the same height and their expressions intimate, calm, and slightly guarded. Make the pair feel like two halves of one dark romantic portrait. Use a dramatic black-and-white photographic-illustration look: deep near-black backgrounds, sculpted charcoal shadows, pale silver highlights on faces, restrained grain, and fine etched texture. Crimson red appears only as a subtle edge light along hair and shoulders and a narrow vertical red glow at the meeting seam; keep the skin and all other details monochrome. Light each face from the outer side with soft silver, then add a delicate red rim toward the center so both portraits visually draw toward each other. Preserve readable eyes and facial contours against the dark background. Keep the center seam narrow and unobtrusive so either square crop still works on its own. Sophisticated, moody, intimate, high contrast, carefully matched exposure and finish. No text, letters, logos, frames, extra people, or decorative props.
