Ein grün-zinnoberroter Schuppendrache windet sich durch indigoblaue Wellen, Wolken, rote Ahornblätter und rosa Pfingstrosen, der schwarze Blocktitel steht oben links. Titel, Farben, Blumen oder Blätter lassen sich austauschen, um eine eigene Version zu gestalten.

A framed-print Japanese irezumi artwork, full dense composition filling the portrait canvas edge to edge, drawn like an Edo woodblock back-piece design on smooth cream washi paper with subtle woodblock grain in the flat colour. A huge coiling dragon with bold black outlines rises from the lower left through crashing indigo and jade waves, its serpentine body looping in S-curves up toward the upper right. Scales are drawn in overlapping vermilion, jade and gold, with black shading graded smoothly into the background. Its mane is flowing, its whiskers are long, and its golden claws are splayed. Its head turns toward the upper-left corner, with open jaws, bared white fangs, a gold eye and a flaming vermilion tongue. The waves have curled claw-like foam tips in cream and white, with deep indigo troughs. Curling black and indigo wind bars and stylised cloud scrolls pack every gap around the dragon. Large red peonies with peony-pink inner petals and dark green leaves cluster at the lower right and beside the dragon's coils. Falling maple leaves in vermilion and gold drift through the frame. Bare cream is left as highlights on scales, foam and petals. In the upper-left corner, within a cloud-and-wind-bar field, the word "RYU" in bold upright East Asian brush-ink capital letters: near-uniform stroke weight, slightly condensed, clean decisive terminals, dense sumi black with faint dry-brush edges. The word is compact, about 22% of the canvas width. Beside it sits a small vermilion square hanko seal. Flat even daylight on paper, no glow, no cast shadows, hand-printed woodblock look, saturated traditional pigments of vermilion, indigo, jade, gold and peony pink.
