What is the Cyberpunk Acid font?
Cyberpunk Acid takes chrome letterforms and pulls the colour channels apart on purpose. The red channel is shifted to one side and the cyan to the other, leaving coloured fringes down both edges while a normally reflective chrome mass stays in the middle. The separation is treated as the design, not as an accident to be cleaned up.
Can I download Cyberpunk Acid?
No file gets installed. You type your word and the generator renders the chrome and the channel offsets together as one image. The fringes have to be computed against the actual letter edges of your specific word, which is not something a font file could carry.
Where does this style work best?
Cyberpunk and sci-fi titles, esports and gaming graphics, glitch-styled music artwork, tech event posters, streaming overlays. Give it a short line at a large size — the offsets are a fixed distance, so on small text they stop reading as separation and just look blurry.
Can I use it for commercial work?
Yes, generated images may be used commercially, including game promotion, album art, merch and advertising. The effect is a generic treatment; the name you type is your own responsibility.
Why does the text still look sharp even though the colours are pulled apart?
Because your eye takes detail almost entirely from brightness, not from colour. Human vision resolves fine luminance differences far better than fine colour differences — the same fact that lets video formats store colour at a fraction of the resolution without anyone noticing. Here the bright chrome mass in the centre keeps the full luminance edge intact, so the word stays crisp, while the red and cyan fringes register as a coloured aura rather than as blur. Shift the brightness instead of the colour and the same offset would look like a smear.
