Hologram Scan renders a clean geometric sans as a projected image: translucent electric blue letters crossed by horizontal raster lines, a slight colour fringe at the edges, and small zones where the projection degrades and flickers. It is the JARVIS-interface, Star Wars-transmission, cyberpunk-AR register.

There is no installable file. You type your text and the generator renders the projection over those letters — scan lines, fringe and dropout placed against the actual shapes — and returns a finished image.

They are inherited from the cathode-ray tube, where the picture did not appear at once — a beam swept left to right, dropped a line, and swept again, hundreds of times per frame, leaving visible gaps between the traces. Science fiction adopted that texture as shorthand for an image that is being generated and transmitted rather than physically present, and the convention outlived the hardware by decades. It is doing real work here: an object in the room has no raster, so the lines are what tell you the letters are a projection, and the small dropout zones say the signal is arriving over a link that can fail.
