rendered in candy cane lettering: a bold rounded monoline script where every stroke is one cylindrical stick of hard candy of even thickness with round ends, letters joined like one rope of candy, and the final stroke of the last letter bending over at the top into a candy-cane hook. COLOR: white candy with bold red stripes spiralling diagonally around every stick, evenly spaced and continuous through curves and joins; NOT solid red letters, NOT horizontal bands. Glossy boiled-sugar finish with one thin highlight line along the top of each stick. Like a real peppermint candy cane. the kind of coquette Christmas card or invitation a girl who loves bows and ribbons actually sends. GRAPHIC LANGUAGE: delicate decoration around the words — satin ribbon bows, thin red-and-white or pink candy stripes on a border, scalloped or oval frames, tiny hand-drawn Christmas trees, cherries and pearls — arranged sparingly with lots of breathing room. LIGHT: soft, diffused daylight, airy and gentle. COLOUR: cream and pale pink backgrounds, with deep cherry red or pink for the bows and stripes; the red is the only strong colour and is used in small amounts. TEXTURE: smooth paper with a fine linen grain, satin sheen on the ribbons, delicate lace edges. TIERS: soft pink tier (blush, cream, pink bows) / cherry red tier (cream with deep red bows and red stripes, vintage feel). A coquette Christmas gift tag: 'To: Mia' on a scalloped cream tag with a red satin bow at the top and a thin red-and-white striped edge.
