What is the 3D Stone font?
It is lettering cut from solid granite: coarse stone faces with visible crystal grain, sharp chisel edges softened by patina, and rough tool marks down the sides — the weight of a Roman inscription or a rune stone. FontVibe renders your text that way and returns an image.
Can I download 3D Stone as a .ttf or .otf file?
No. The stone grain and the carved depth are painted into the image. FontVibe hands you the finished picture, not a font file.
Where does 3D Stone work best?
Medieval and fantasy event material, museum and monument graphics, Viking and Roman themed pieces, historical brands and game titles that need to feel immovable.
Can I use 3D Stone commercially?
Yes. FontVibe images carry no licence fee, royalty or attribution requirement.
Why are the side surfaces rougher than the front face?
That is how carving actually proceeds. The front is dressed and smoothed because it is the surface people read; the sides are wherever the chisel happened to break the stone away, so they keep tool marks and irregular fracture. Give both the same finish and the letters flatten into a texture — the contrast between a worked face and a struck side is what makes them read as cut from a block.
Which fonts are similar to 3D Stone?
Viking Carved works the same ancient material as timber rather than granite, with gouged rather than chipped edges.
3D Beveled keeps the same solid depth but finishes it as machined metal.
