A big vermilion and gold koi with bold black outlines and detailed scales swims upward in a diagonal sweep from lower-left to upper-right, climbing a cascading waterfall. The waterfall is drawn as indigo and jade ribbons with black line-work and cream highlights. Its mouth is open, whiskers flowing, fins and tail flared with curled flame-like edges.
