"Merry Christmas" is a nativity greeting card in a watercolor and gouache storybook style, quoting Luke 2:14 and signed by a family. Gold script on a glowing cloud sits over a navy night sky, a bright star, a wooden stable with Mary, Joseph, the baby in a manger, a donkey and a lamb. Swap the family name in the sign-off, the verse and the greeting to remake it as your own Christmas card.

Create a finished front design for a portrait Christmas card, with every element inside a generous 8% safe margin. A quiet, reverent nativity scene at night: a small rustic wooden stable in the lower half, Mary and Joseph close beside the newborn in a simple manger, rendered gently and respectfully, with no halos or ornate religious embellishment. A single brilliant Bethlehem star shines above the stable, its soft golden ray falling through deep blue night onto the family. A few distant dark pines and a low, still horizon; sparse stars, no extra Christmas motifs. Hand-painted gouache and fine watercolor on warm ivory cold-press paper, subtle paper grain, soft-edged midnight blues and muted indigo, warm candlelit ochre, cream, and dark umber. Quiet, intimate lighting and generous open space; restrained, timeless devotional stationery, not photorealistic. Set the exact words below, with crisp, correctly spelled, highly legible lettering and no other text. At the top, make “Merry Christmas” the largest line: elegant connected holiday script with graceful loops, clear letterforms, deep warm umber ink and a restrained golden highlight. Directly beneath it, set “Glory to God in the highest” in a smaller refined, readable serif, centered in warm dark ink. Place “Luke 2:14” beneath the verse in small but print-legible serif type. At the bottom, set “from the Martinez family” as a clear, warm signature line in modest elegant lettering. Keep all text distinct from the illustration and from one another. Centered, balanced vertical arrangement: greeting and verse in the upper portion, nativity scene as the visual heart, family signature below. Preserve a calm, uncluttered night sky around the star. No border, no additional words, no watermark.
