A Japanese irezumi tattoo design for a forearm, drawn as a flat hand-inked woodblock-style graphic on a clean pure white background, evenly lit with no shadows or glow. One tall vertical composition that fits the long shape of a forearm. A large phoenix (hō-ō) rises diagonally from the lower left to the upper right: head raised with an open beak and a fierce eye, wings swept back in layered feathers, and a long sweeping tail of five ribbon-like plumes that trail down in S-curves. Bold black outlines of varied thickness, with fine interior feather lines.
