"Spooky Story Time" is a Halloween story hour poster for kids, in a cute, playful cartoon style. Chunky cream rounded letters with a purple outline and 3D depth sit above a smiling ghost reading a purple book, flanked by two grinning pumpkins, all stacked on a cream background. Swap in your own title, date, time, room, venue and costume note to make a poster for your own event.

Create a finished, print-ready 2:3 Halloween story-hour poster for a public library, designed to read clearly from a few steps away and remain legible as a phone thumbnail. Keep all lettering and key artwork inside a generous 6% safe margin. Use a friendly, soft, silly register for children ages 3–8; no frightening imagery, gore, blood, sharp teeth, or horror styling. Render the following copy exactly, with clear typographic hierarchy: Small top eyebrow: “HALLOWEEN STORY HOUR” Largest headline: “Spooky Story Time” Small supporting line: “Stories, giggles & Halloween wiggles!” Prominent date and time: “Thursday, October 29 · 4 PM” Venue line: “Children's Room” Library line: “Maple Street Library” Grouped practical detail: “Costumes welcome · Free for kids 3 to 8” Set the headline in custom rounded, chunky hand-lettered forms: broad soft strokes, open counters, irregular but carefully spaced baseline, blunt rounded terminals, and clean high-contrast edges. Use warm cream lettering with a subtle lavender offset shadow; keep every letter unmistakable and unobscured. Set supporting copy in a sturdy, highly legible rounded sans serif, dark plum on pale cream panels. Centered poster composition: eyebrow at the top; oversized title beneath, spanning about 84% of the width; short supporting line below the title. Give the central illustration its own block: an open illustrated storybook with a small smiling sheet-ghost peeking out as a reader, two plump peach pumpkins, tiny stars, and a crescent moon. Use simple rounded shapes, stitched-book details, and matte paper-cut layers; no busy detail behind the title. Put date/time, venue, library name, and free/costume information together in a clearly separated lower information block, in that order. Palette: warm ivory paper, soft lavender, peach-orange, butter yellow, and deep plum. Add faint printed-paper grain, crisp screen-printed edges, gentle soft shadows, and even warm light. Full-bleed background in warm ivory with a restrained lavender border and a few small star and leaf motifs confined to the corners. No logos, QR codes, or extra text.
