"Spooky Trunks at the Library" is a playful Halloween trunk-or-treat poster for a community library event. Dripping orange and purple lettering sits above a car trunk with a jack-o'-lantern, a glowing storytime tent and costumed kids, with details in stacked bars. Swap in your own event name, date, time, location and activity lines to make a poster for your neighborhood.

Create a complete, family-friendly Halloween trunk-or-treat flyer for print and parent-chat sharing, portrait 3:4, with all text and key artwork inside a generous 7% safe margin. Set the exact copy below, clearly spelled and highly legible at phone-thumbnail size. Give the event name the largest type, followed by date, time and location, then participation and activities. Headline: “Spooky Trunks at the Library” Date: “Wednesday, October 28” Time and place: “4–6 PM · Behind Elm Street Library” Participation: “Come as a family or bring a decorated car trunk” Activities: “Storytime tent · Costume contest” Treats and costumes: “Costumes welcome · Treats for every little ghoul” Render the headline in friendly cartoon-Halloween display lettering: plump, bouncy, slightly irregular rounded forms, open counters, thick deep-plum outlines, candy-bright pumpkin-orange, slime-green and spooky-purple fills, subtle cartoon highlights, and only a couple of small green ooze drips that do not obscure any letter. Keep all supporting text in a clean, bold rounded sans serif with strong contrast and clear spacing. Build the scene around a decorated car trunk, shown open and dressed as a cheerful jack-o’-lantern with paper bats and candy. Add a small, warmly lit storytime tent with a few oversized picture books and a friendly costumed-family suggestion in simplified illustration. Use a few playful cut-paper bats against a full moon, delicate web strands, and tiny crooked tombstone and bare-tree silhouettes as distant Halloween-night details; keep them soft, decorative and never frightening. No gore, blood, horror imagery, QR codes or barcodes. Use a deep midnight-purple ground with a tidy pumpkin-orange border, warm lantern glow, restrained green and purple accents, and clear light-colored detail panels. The headline occupies the upper section; the date and time/location form a neat, immediately readable block beneath it; the illustrated car trunk and storytime tent anchor the middle; participation, activities and treats/costumes sit in separate, high-contrast footer bands. Crisp printed edges, polished flat illustration with gentle dimensional shading, balanced negative space, print-ready hierarchy.
