"Merry Christmas" is a vintage-style holiday wallpaper made to look like an old printed postcard. Red script lettering with holly sprigs sits in a teal starry sky above a snowy village with a red house, stone bridge and white church, with app icons along the bottom. Replace the greeting with your own name or message, adjust the colours, or keep the icon dock for a desktop screen.

Create a finished 16:9 laptop desktop wallpaper illustrated as a treasured mid-century Christmas card. Across the screen, show a broad 1950s snowy hillside town: small cherry-red and cream houses stepping up rolling white slopes, dark pine-green stylized fir trees, a few warm mustard windows, and a teal evening sky dotted with simple atomic-style stars. Use flat painted shapes, crisp simple outlines, subtly imperfect printed edges, faint color-layer misregistration, fine aged cream-card grain, softly worn corners, and just a restrained dusting of glitter on the snow. Keep the scene graphic and hand-printed, with even printed light and painted highlights, not realistic or photographic. In the upper-right sky, set the exact small greeting “Merry Christmas” in connected medium-weight brush-pen script, with thick downstrokes, hairline upstrokes, and every letter resting on one baseline. The capital M begins with a large looping entry swash; the final s trails into a long sweep beneath the words. Print the lettering in deep cherry-red ink so it reads clearly against the teal sky. Include exactly two small holly sprigs and no other ornaments attached to the lettering: one tucked beside the first capital’s loop, one at the tip of the underline flourish; each sprig has two spiky green leaves and three round red berries, no taller than a lowercase letter, sitting beside strokes and never on them. Along the very bottom, add a neat centered desktop dock: a low, softly rounded aged-cream panel with a subtle printed shadow, holding eight evenly spaced small square app icons. Make the icons distinct, simple flat-painted pictograms—such as a star, envelope, camera, music note, calendar grid, book, globe, and settings gear—in the same limited retro palette. No icon labels, no extra words, no cursor, no window frames. Keep the town visible above the dock and the greeting small and tucked into its corner.
