"Tree Lighting Ceremony" is a vintage-style Christmas event poster that recalls an old printed holiday card. A glowing, snow-dusted tree with red bows and baubles stands against a teal night sky, with cream lettering and the date, time and place centered in caps below. Swap the headline, date, time, location and extra-activities line to make your own town celebration poster.

Create a finished 3:4 Christmas tree-lighting poster for a town event, with a nostalgic mid-century printed holiday-card look. Use flat painted shapes, simple crisp outlines, subtly imperfect printed edges, fine aged cream-card grain and slight color-layer misregistration. Scene: a deep teal starry winter night sky with a dusting of snow; one enormous decorated evergreen fills the center, glowing warmly from hundreds of tiny golden lights. Add a few snowy pines and gentle snowdrifts at its base, but no Santa figure. Painted-in golden light radiates around the tree without realistic photographic shading. Limited palette of faded cherry red, teal, pine green, mustard gold and cream. Keep every element inside a generous print-safe margin. At the top, set the exact headline “Tree Lighting Ceremony” in large, exceptionally legible, custom vintage display lettering: bold upright serif capitals and lowercase, moderately condensed, sturdy bracketed serifs, clear open counters and even spacing. Cream letter faces with subtle warm-gold painted highlights and a restrained dark-teal outline; no ornate flourishes that compromise readability. The headline is the strongest text tier and remains clear at phone-thumbnail size. Let the huge glowing tree dominate the middle of the poster, with the headline above it and an orderly information group below it. Set the following exact copy as separate, centered lines in descending size, with high contrast against a quiet deep-teal lower sky area: “Friday, December 4”; “6 PM”; “City Hall Plaza”; “hot cocoa, choir and a visit from Santa”. Use clean, bold, small-cap lettering for details, cream ink with restrained gold accents; keep the final activities line comfortably readable. Preserve spelling, capitalization and punctuation exactly as quoted. No extra text, invented details, logos, borders, or competing Christmas motifs.
